Lynden Hill Clinic Modern Slavery Statement
Lynden Hill Clinic recognises that modern slavery and human trafficking are grave human rights violations and a profound cause for concern. Modern slavery impacts the lives of many vulnerable individuals.
As a provider of healthcare and rehabilitation services, Lynden Hill Clinic has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
We are committed to ensuring that in the provision of our services, we will not directly or indirectly facilitate modern slavery or human trafficking.
Policies
Lynden Hill Clinic has a dedicated Modern Slavery Policy and a comprehensive Safeguarding Adults Policy in place. These policies provide clear guidance on identifying modern slavery and outline the processes to follow if we identify or suspect modern slavery is occurring.
Training
All clinical and non-clinical staff at Lynden Hill Clinic are required to complete safeguarding training as part of their induction and on an annual basis. This includes work experience students and apprentices. Our management team and relevant staff members regularly update their safeguarding knowledge by attending annual refresher training and staying informed on best practices.
Suppliers
Lynden Hill Clinic undertakes robust due diligence checks on all prospective suppliers. We will not engage with any suppliers that do not share our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
If we become aware that a supplier is involved in modern slavery or human trafficking, we will terminate the business relationship with immediate effect.
Patients
As a direct provider of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated healthcare services, Lynden Hill Clinic is dedicated to protecting our patients. We have processes in place relating to identifying and reporting modern slavery and human trafficking, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals under our care.
If we become aware that a patient is involved in, or a victim of, modern slavery or human trafficking, we will follow our safeguarding protocols and terminate our service provision as appropriate, whilst ensuring the individual’s safety and reporting to relevant authorities.
Looking Forward
Lynden Hill Clinic will remain vigilant to the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and will report all concerns in accordance with our Modern Slavery Policy and our Safeguarding Adults Policy.
We will continue to review and develop our processes for identifying and managing modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chains.
We will issue an updated Modern Slavery Statement on an annual basis.
